Dear Writers, Readers and Friends:
For many, this is a season of giving. This year, consider giving the gift of donated time or money to support one or more of your local literary organizations: Sacramento Poetry Center, 916INK, the Library, Stories on Stage, Poetry in Davis and any number of other organizations I can’t remember on this chilly Saturday morning! Capitol Public Radio also does much to support the literary arts here in the Valley; consider supporting them, as well. I support all of these organizations and others in helping to promote their events; I also donated financial support in the last year to Sacramento Poetry Center, Stories on Stage, 916 INK and Capitol Public Radio. It feels right, to me, to invest in these institutions that enrich the cultural and artistic fabric of our region–our home–my home!
